Canine FMT studies indicate 0.5gm-1gm of stool per kg of patient. Using a 20k dog example, that would translate to 20-25 Amend Pet capsules in a send-home regimen which pet owners store in their freezer and administer to their pet over 5-7 days. The Amend Pet device enables approximately 4 regimens per donor dog sample.

Creating FMT capsule regimens from donor dog stool takes < 15 minutes.

Cost to create a capsule regimen for FMT is under $50. Estimated patient price is $200-300 per send-home regimen.

At -20 Celsius our capsules have viability for at least 6 months verified by rt-PCR testing.
