We’re a passionate group of business builders (and pet owners) with backgrounds in life sciences, surgical medicine, microbiology, veterinary medicine, engineering and entrepreneurship. Since launching in 2020, we’ve been on a mission to create a radically better way for clinicians and their patients to access the healing power of the gut microbiome through testing and transplant.

  • As CEO Mike brings extensive experience leading high growth healthcare businesses. Most recently, Mike was the Chief Commercial Officer at Sterifre Medical. He has 30 years’ experience in medical device design, development, manufacturing, and commercialization, raising capital, and selling into the US healthcare markets as well as international experience.

  • Kathleen has over 20 years experience in business consulting and management at Accenture and Point B, followed by senior executive positions in global health and social enterprise organizations. Most recently, Kathleen served as interim CEO at VitalTalk (healthcare) and FIRST Washington (STEM education).

  • Dr. Lendvay is a surgeon, entrepreneur, professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Washington and co-Director of Seattle Children’s Robotic Surgery Center. He was the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of CSATS (acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2018). His research and innovation focus on disruptive technologies to improve patient outcomes.

  • Eva is a data strategist and engineer whose work has spanned a broad array of industries and organizational stages, from full time engineering roles at Microsoft and UW to consulting for companies in life sciences, SaaS, retail and others. She serves as a technical advisor to start-ups, and chaired The Inc, a non-profit coworking space for working parents.

  • Will is an immunologist, microbiome specialist, and microbiologist. Prior to joining Amend Pet, Will was Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington and Director of the DePaolo Lab, a research laboratory working to understand the complex relationship between our immune system and the microbiota in different disease and nutritional states.

  • Roslyn is a founding advisor to Amend Pet. Previously, she was the founding CEO of Immunexpress. Under her leadership, Immunexpress raised $42.5M, and developed the the first FDA-cleared RNA-based diagnostic for infectious disease. Immunexpress was awarded the Medtech Innovation Award 2018. Dr. Hendriks is a Fellow of NACD.
